PHOTOGRAPHER TO THE FUTURE SPORTING STARS OF THE CENTRAL COAST
Photography is an extension of my joie de vivre. It brings me such happiness to catch fleeting moments of brilliance, and share them with those who appreciate them most.
And I'm constantly amazed at the moments of brilliance I see in our little athletes of the Coast.
My friends often lament that their camera rolls are filled with images of stick figures on playing fields. I love capturing close-up action shots showing the heart, soul and skill our little athletes put in each time they hit the field.

Fact 1
My surname, Søm, is from Norway. It is pronounced 'Sirm'. It is the name of a landholding owned by my husband's family, but also means 'thread'. When there is no ø key available, it is spelt "oe", thus 'Soem' Photography

I'm actually a lawyer by profession. I got into photography to document special moments in my own childrens' lives, and as a creative outlet, and it has evolved from there

While I love the view from the sidelines, I also love playing sport myself too. At the moment, my favourite is tennis, but I also love barre class, boxing, swimming, cycling and spending time at the beach

I grew up on the Central Coast of NSW, but I've lived and studied in Germany, and love to travel. Other favourite destinations include Norway (of course!), Slovenia, Vietnam, Palawan and the Maldives
